An essential for any women nowadays is a red cocktail dress.According to the Fad Analysts, its the new LBD (little black dress) .With the experience that comes from years of scrutinizing celebrities, I have come up with a few little rules for wearing a red dress:

1. Choose your Dress style : When wearing a red dress choose something  with sharp lines and a fairly conservative cut. You want to send a message that you're sophisticated, not slutty. 

2. Don't over-accessorize : Red is an undeniably powerful color. Complement the dress by adding subtle jewelry pieces. Cluttering up the look with a pile of necklaces or a loud printed scarf is a no-no. If you are attending a semi-formal event - go classy and minimal on the accessories. But if you are going out clubbing then turn up the heat by adding the extra sparkles and trendy shoes.

3. Complement with Gold,black or silver :  When it comes to red, I think black heels work best. Gold, black and silver add interest and highlight the dress. Any other neutral-nude, brown or beige--should definitely be avoided. Add gold with pearls or clear crystals to achieve a high-glam look.
